Lunokhod-2: 37 kilometres across the surface of the Moon

Lunokhod-2 landed on the Moon on 15 January 1973 and operated for about four months. In that time it travelled 37 kilometres — a record for a robotic journey on another celestial body that stood until the 21st century.

The rover sent back 86 panoramas and more than 80,000 regular images, revealing the lunar landscape in unprecedented detail.

The Lunokhod-2 collection by Vostok Europe is a tribute to that feat — with its signature oversized case and a wrist presence that never goes unnoticed.
